The project will provide routine road-paving maintenance to improve visitor safety and enhance the overall visitor experience. The park anticipates completing the project by mid-June 2026. This project will affect the official Chickamauga Battlefield tour route by closing access to Tour Stop 8. A temporary stop will be designated for visitors. After Tour Stop 7, please follow the updated tour signage.
The Brotherton Road closure, between Alexander's Bridge and LaFayette Roads, remains in effect as rehabilitation continues. During the closure, all public traffic is prohibited from using the closed section.
