Fire Point Ranger Guided Tour

 

Join us for a ranger-guided hike to Fire Point overlook starting at 10:00 a.m. This hike is a 2-mile roundtrip that will take about 2 hours total. There is a 350ft elevation gain going up 5 switchbacks on the woodchipped trail. There will be frequent stops on this hike as the ranger will be providing information about the resources of the park. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bringing bug spray is recommended.

Young explorers ages 5-12 are invited to drop by our Junior Ranger Station for hands-on activities, games, and challenges that help them discover the park's natural and crultural wonders. Kids can arrive anytime within the scheduled hour and a half to complete a Junior Ranger activity at their own pace. Rangers are on hand to guide, encourage, and answer questions as children learn, create, and work toward earning their Junior Ranger recognition. A fun, flexible program perfect for curious kids and families.

The Boston Gallery: Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color

 

The Boston Gallery is a flagship initiative of the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Arts in the Park program, enriching visitor experiences and strengthening community connections through visual, cultural, and performing arts programming in partnership with artists across Northeast Ohio. Curated in partnership with the Museum of Creative Human Art (MoCHA), the Boston Gallery features rotating exhibitions of nature‑centric artwork, refreshed several times each year. On Exhibit: Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color presents a visual dialogue between artists Sylvia Munodawafa and Dinara Mirtalipova, whose works explore nature through folklore, symbolism, and cultural storytelling. Munodawafa’s sculptural masks and abstract paintings draw from African spiritual traditions, while Mirtalipova’s vibrant illustrations bring mythic narratives and folk imagery to life. Together, their work celebrates the enduring power of art to connect heritage, imagination, and the natural world.
