Trailie & Trip Planning
Trailie analyzes your preferences, travel dates, interests, and available time to create personalized itineraries. It weaves in live NPS data when available — weather, closures, permits — and can use web search for state parks when you are signed in. Tell Trailie where you want to go and what matters; it builds a day-by-day plan from there.
Trailie runs on Anthropic Claude Sonnet 5 — one assistant for quick tips and full day-by-day itineraries. You don't pick a model; Trailie uses live NPS data and web search (when signed in) to keep answers current. Signed-in trips save to your chat history automatically.
All your Trailie conversations are automatically saved to your Trip History. Active trips appear in the 'Active' tab for easy continuation. Archive completed trips to the 'Archived' tab where you can restore them anytime with full context and conversation history preserved.
Yes! Your Trailie conversations are private and stored securely. Website chat goes to Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 5); Talk to Trailie voice uses OpenAI Realtime — all without personal identifiers in the prompts we send. You can delete any conversation from your trip history at any time. Do not enter sensitive personal information into Trailie chats.
Generic ChatGPT can outline trip ideas but may miss current closures and 2026 rule changes. TrailVerse Trailie and the TrailVerse ChatGPT app pull live NPS alerts, weather, events, and park details for 470+ sites so plans reflect real conditions.
